Q.'I have wide calves, which boot would be suitable for me?

A: Probably our most commonly asked question. Several of the brands we stock provide ranges to accommodate wider calfs or have a method of adjusting the boot to allow extra width if required.  We have created a page devoted to boots for those requiring a 'more generous' fit.

If you measure your leg around the widest part, you can go to our Size Charts and see the actual calf measurements on most of the boots on the site.


Q. ‘If I order the boots today when should I receive them?’


A: If the boots are in stock and the order is placed before 2pm between Monday and Thursday, we will dispatch that day for Next day delivery (UK Mainland orders only). Please see full details on our Delivery Help Page .  If the boots you have ordered are not in stock, we will contact you with an expected delivery date.   As main agents, we are given priority shipping from our suppliers so delivery time is kept to a minimum.

If an item is listed as out of stock, please contact us and we can order it in for you.

Q. 'If the boots do not fit or I don’t like them, what is your returns policy?'


A: We operate a straightforward returns policy , provided the boots have not been worn and are in their original packaging, you can return them to us within 30 days (if bought for a Christmas present, a ‘reasonable’ time will be honoured) and you will receive a full refund for the price you paid for the boots. If an exchange is required we would be happy to send you an alternative pair of Wellington boots. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details of our returns policy.

Q. 'If my boots are faulty, what should I do?'

A: In the unlikely event that the boots we have sent are faulty we will make every effort to exchange them as a priority
