Grubs

Grubs makes seriously insulated neoprene wellingtons for cold, wet British winters. Thick neoprene, from around 5mm up to 8.5mm on the warmest models, does the work here: it traps warmth, cushions the foot and flexes with you instead of rubbing. Several models use a Vibram outsole, which grips wet ground and lasts. The range runs from tall stalking and field boots to shorter styles for around the yard. Fit is roomy by design because the lining takes up space, so a thick sock is easy to accommodate.
