Festival Welly Buying Checklist
No matter which festival you're heading to, here's what to look for:
Height
Tall boots for muddy festivals (Download, Creamfields). Short boots for urban or seaside events.
Comfort
Cushioned insoles are a must for all-day wear. Look for memory foam or neoprene lining.
Grip
Deep-tread soles prevent slips on wet grass and hillsides. Essential for Boomtown and Green Man.
Weight
Lightweight boots reduce fatigue. PU and EVA materials are lighter than traditional rubber.
Fit
Allow room for thick socks. Try on in the afternoon when feet are slightly swollen.
Style
Printed and colourful wellies make you easier to spot. Practical meets personality.
