Le Chameau

Le Chameau has hand-made its boots in France since 1927, each pair built by a single master bootmaker from start to finish. The Vierzonord is the best known: a neoprene-lined tall boot with an adjustable gusset, warm enough for winter and cut for a real calf. Leather-lined models sit at the top of the range and soften with wear the way a good pair of boots should. Fit is generous through the calf compared with a classic British welly, and the adjustable buckle takes up the slack. This is the boot for cold, wet, all-day country use where comfort matters more than price.
