Aigle

Aigle has been making rubber boots in France since 1853, and still hand-crafts its best boots from natural rubber. The Parcours is the range that made the brand's name in the UK: a walking welly with a genuinely supportive sole, shaped for covering ground rather than standing still in it. Many models use an Outlast lining, which buffers temperature swings and keeps the boot comfortable across a long day. Expect a narrower, more anatomical fit than a classic British welly and a boot that rewards you if you actually walk in it. Choose Aigle for country walking, shooting and long days outdoors where a flat-soled boot would leave you aching.
