Known as The Walking Welly, the Aigle Parcours 2 ISO is built for people who actually walk in their wellies, not just stand about in them. It takes Aigle walking boot technology and puts it into a tall, traditional boot with a matt finish, hand-made in France from natural rubber. Add a thick neoprene lining and you have a boot for long, cold walks, available for women and men.

Fit and sizing

The Aigle Parcours 2 ISO runs from EU 36 to EU 50, so it covers small and large feet alike. The ankle is fitted, which helps hold your foot steady as you walk. Up top, a robust, adjustable gusset gives an extra 6cm potential width on the calf, making this a strong option if you have been looking for wide calf wellies that still feel like proper walking boots.

Warmth and lining

These are serious warm wellies. The boot is lined throughout with 4.5mm neoprene and insulated down to -20°C. The footbed has two layers of neoprene sandwiching a 6mm layer of insulating felt and a 2mm layer of polypropylene, so there is a good barrier between your feet and cold, wet ground. If you want neoprene wellies for frosty mornings, this is the one to consider.

Where it shines

Walking is the point. The dual density rubber sole is hard-wearing, and a shock absorbing midsole adds walking comfort over distance. Propulsion and braking lugs, exclusive to Aigle, give non-slip safety on all terrains, from greasy footpaths to muddy field edges.
